Hello, thank you for purchasing from In Flux!
When you download a purchased theme, it will be packaged in a .zip. You will need to unzip this folder before installing. When unzipped it will be a folder containing a read.txt file and the theme packaged as a .zip (example: “xxxx.zip“), this is the file you will need upload to your blog. You can now commence with the installation.

- Log in to your WordPress dashboard, navigate to Appearance –> Themes –> choose Add New.
- STEP 2
- select Upload Theme. Click Choose File (or Select File) to browse the theme file on your computer and select Install Now.

- After the theme is uploaded, you can use live preview to see what it will look like and use the customiser.
When you are satisfied with the result you can activate the theme.
All done! The theme is now installed successfully and you can see the results on your site.
Off course you can also upload the theme through ftp or ftps, but those who wish to do so probably know how to do this ; )
When you install the theme the default homepage design consists of the blog feed with sidebar, but you can create a page with an alternative layouts.
The layouts are: ‘Full Width Homepage (blog archive)’, ‘Grid Homepage (blog archive)’ or ‘Grid Full Width Homepage (blog archive)’ — have a look at the demo sites to see these in action).
To use one of these layouts as homepage create a new Page and under ‘Page Attributes’ select the template you wish to use and save and publish this page.
To activate this page as your homepage go to Settings > Reading and choose ‘A static page’ option for ‘Frontpage / main homepage display’. Then choose the page that will be used for your Frontpage from the dropdown.
The widgets in this theme can appear in one of the 2 widget areas – one in the sidebar and one in the footer.
To use a widget pull any of them in on of the areas under ‘Appearance -> Widgets’
The custom widgets provided are: the ‘In Flux – Profile’ widget.

Under ‘Settings -> In Flux – Options’ you can find the settings for the share buttons that can appear under each post.
A selection of the links you want to appear,
The title to appear above the share links
and the option to add your twitter username to the twitter share link.
